Pectus Up consists of a surgical implant and a set of tools to be used through a new extra-thoracic method to repair Pectus Excavatum called Taulinoplastia. This surgical procedure is minimally invasive, which reduces pain and recovery time, as well as any possible complications. Pectus Up has been developed by our company, Ventura Medical Technologies.
Pectus Up will be presented at the Third International Joint Meeting on Thoracic Surgery, which will take place in Barcelona from 18th – 20th November 2015.
The Organizing Committee is formed by internationally renowned Dr. Laureano Molins, Dr. Ramón Rami-Porta, Dr. José Belda-Sanchis, and Dr. Juan J. Rivas de Andrés. It is estimated an attendance of 450 worldwide specialists, including pediatrics and thoracic surgeons.
This year’s Meeting will welcome the 23rd Congress of the Ibero-American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AIACT).
The Pectus Up presentation will be held on 18th of November at 2.20 pm. Moreover, a lunch seminar will take place on the same day from 1 pm to 1:55 pm. Attendants will be able to see the product in detail (materials and operation) and talk directly with the surgeons and technical team. (More information on the congress (www.thoracicsurgery2015.org).)
