ITEMAS Network and Ventura Medical Technologies have reached an agreement with the aim that the company becomes a member of this network, in order to develop research and innovation projects in collaboration and to facilitate the transfer of scientific medical and care knowledge in the field of innovation in medical and health technologies arising from the bonded centers.
ITEMAS Network arises from the initiative of Carlos III Health Institute and aims to encourage innovation in medical and health technology as a basic tool for a more sustainable National Health System, supporting the development of innovative culture, necessary to facilitate the integration of the science and industry system in the field of medical technology.
With this purpose, ITEMAS Network aims to strengthen and formalize mechanisms for communication and collaboration between the different actors in the innovation process (Hospitals, Schools and Industry), collaborating in establishing contacts and partnerships with other relevant institutions in the field of innovation public and private medical and health technologies, and providing the possibility to join ITEMAS Network as collaborators.
ITEMAS Network currently is made up of the Innovation Support Units of 14 major hospitals of the Spanish National Health System.
