Hi ha pacients amb una deformitat lleu, pr\u00e0cticament asimptom\u00e0tica, per\u00f2 amb implicacions est\u00e8tiques, i pacients amb afectaci\u00f3 moderada o severa, que pateixen importants problemes f\u00edsics i trastorns sociopsicol\u00f2gics.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta patologia sol apar\u00e8ixer a la primera inf\u00e0ncia i quan el seu grau \u00e9s greu pot tenir greus efectes en el pacient, ja que la deformaci\u00f3 \u00f2ssia pot acabar provocant problemes pulmonars, dificultant la respiraci\u00f3 i altres s\u00edmptomes respiratoris.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 poden apar\u00e8ixer problemes card\u00edacs, que condueixen a una falta d&#039;adaptaci\u00f3 a l&#039;activitat f\u00edsica.
