The company holds over 40 years experience in the industrial sector, and it has focused its activity in high-precision components on a global level, mainly for the automotive sector but also for other industries like trucks, motorbikes or aeronautics.

By taking advantage of its capacities, and with a firm social commitment, in 2008 BVentura started to drive its efforts towards innovation in the health sector. In 2010, Ventura Medical Technologies was created, aiming to develop and to market innovative projects bringing comprehensive multi-technological solutions within the health sector.
The first project came from an idea by Dr.Bardají, head of Paediatrics Surgery at Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí, and Fundació Taulí, in Sabadell (Spain). The project was based in the research and development of a new surgical method using a new medical device called Pectus Up Surgery Kit. This aims to treat Pectus Excavatum, the most common congenital abnormality of the chest wall. Pectus Up is a temporary set of implants and tools manufactured with the aim of treating this pathology with a new surgical method, which is less painful and entails a shorter recovery period than other methods.
Today, Ventura Medical Technologies is developing new projects within these specialties: otolaryngology, obstetrics, endocrinology, pulmonology and neurorehabilitation. Ventura MT is working in both the diagnostics and treatment levels. In order to get optimal results, some agreements with different technological and health institutions and universities have been made.
