{"id":2726,"date":"2018-12-05T08:39:03","date_gmt":"2018-12-05T08:39:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/?p=2726\/"},"modified":"2022-08-22T08:19:47","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T08:19:47","slug":"new-pectus-up-refresher-course-in-thoracic-surgery-in-madrid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/new-pectus-up-refresher-course-in-thoracic-surgery-in-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"NUEVO CURSO DE ACTUALIZACI\u00d3N DE PECTUS UP EN CIRUG\u00cdA TOR\u00c1CICA EN MADRID"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>El Dr. Andr\u00e9s Varela realiza una cirug\u00eda de Pectus Up en un curso de actualizaci\u00f3n en cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica celebrado en el Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda. <\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El pasado 22 y 23 de noviembre tuvo lugar una cirug\u00eda en directo con Pectus Up durante <strong>Curso de actualizaci\u00f3n en cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica<\/strong> que se celebr\u00f3 en el Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, en Madrid (Espa\u00f1a), en colaboraci\u00f3n con <a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/\">Ventura Medical Technologies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Dr. Andr\u00e9s Varela fue el encargado de la organizaci\u00f3n del curso, que incluy\u00f3 presentaciones, debates y casos cl\u00ednicos, presentados por \u00e9l mismo y por el resto de miembros del equipo de cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica del hospital. Al curso asistieron varios cirujanos de diferentes hospitales de Espa\u00f1a, como <strong>Hospital Virgen Macarena<\/strong> y <strong>Hospital Virgen del Roc\u00edo<\/strong> en Sevilla; <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez D\u00edaz<\/strong> y <strong>Hospital<\/strong> <strong>La Paz<\/strong> en Madrid; y <strong>Hospital La Candelaria<\/strong> en Tenerife.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Dr. Varela es Jefe de Servicio del Hospital Puerta de Hierro, de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quironsalud.es\/hospital-madrid\">Hospital Quir\u00f3nsalud Madrid<\/a> y de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quironsalud.es\/hospital-la-luz\">Hospital La Luz<\/a>, todos ellos en Madrid, Espa\u00f1a. Cuenta con 30 a\u00f1os de experiencia profesional e investigadora, principalmente en el campo de la cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica oncol\u00f3gica y el trasplante pulmonar, con m\u00e1s de 100 casos en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os, <strong>Dra. Varela<\/strong> ha realizado 13 cirug\u00edas de Pectus Up, convirti\u00e9ndose as\u00ed en un referente en la formaci\u00f3n de cirujanos, tanto tor\u00e1cicos como pedi\u00e1tricos, en esta novedosa t\u00e9cnica m\u00ednimamente invasiva. En estas intervenciones han participado m\u00e1s de 25 cirujanos de \u00e1mbito nacional e internacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s, gracias a su colaboraci\u00f3n y a las mejoras en la t\u00e9cnica, se ha ampliado el rango de edad de las personas operadas, siendo la \u00faltima un paciente de 46 a\u00f1os, lo que aumenta el n\u00famero de correcciones en casos de asimetr\u00eda. <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>excavatum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El <strong>Pectus Up<\/strong> tiene criterios bien definidos y estandarizados que permiten una buena replicaci\u00f3n de la t\u00e9cnica a trav\u00e9s de un abordaje extrator\u00e1cico, lo que conlleva muy poco dolor postoperatorio y un corto periodo de recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Andr\u00e9s Varela performs a Pectus Up surgery in a [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":7689,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2726","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
