{"id":2776,"date":"2019-01-25T15:26:47","date_gmt":"2019-01-25T15:26:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/?p=2776\/"},"modified":"2025-06-23T09:08:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T09:08:11","slug":"first-pectus-up-surgery-in-colombia-in-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/first-pectus-up-surgery-in-colombia-in-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"PRIMERA CIRUG\u00cdA DE PECTUS UP EN COLOMBIA EN 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>El pasado 22 de enero, el doctor Fernando Fierro \u00c1vila, junto al doctor Jorge Ricardo Beltr\u00e1n, operaron con Pectus Up a un paciente de 10 a\u00f1os, siendo esta la primera intervenci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica realizada este a\u00f1o en Colombia.<\/em><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La cirug\u00eda se realiz\u00f3 en el Hospital de la Misericordia (HOMI) de Bogot\u00e1, una instituci\u00f3n privada sin \u00e1nimo de lucro dedicada al diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de enfermedades pedi\u00e1tricas de alta complejidad. El HOMI fue el primero en ejercer y ense\u00f1ar pediatr\u00eda en Colombia hace 120 a\u00f1os, y actualmente es el hospital pedi\u00e1trico m\u00e1s importante del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con esta nueva operaci\u00f3n,\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0se consolida en Colombia por\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/biomedisys.com.co\/\">Biomedisia<\/a>, distribuidor de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/\">Ventura Medical Technologies<\/a>\u00a0productos all\u00ed. En junio de 2017, se otorg\u00f3 el registro sanitario del producto en Colombia, tras la resoluci\u00f3n de\u00a0<em>la Direcci\u00f3n de Dispositivos M\u00e9dicos del Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia del Medicamento<\/em>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/InvimaColombiaOficial\">INVIMA<\/a>). Desde entonces, muchos pacientes afectados por\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>excavatum<\/strong>\u00a0Ahora son elegibles para el tratamiento con el\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>t\u00e9cnica que es m\u00ednimamente invasiva, f\u00e1cil de implantar y reduce dr\u00e1sticamente la estancia hospitalaria y los tiempos de recuperaci\u00f3n postoperatoria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El doctor Fernando Fierro \u00c1vila es especialista en cirug\u00eda pedi\u00e1trica y docente de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Bogot\u00e1. Fue el cirujano que realiz\u00f3 la primera intervenci\u00f3n con\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0En su pa\u00eds, en aquel momento a una paciente de 13 a\u00f1os. El Dr. Fierro hab\u00eda asistido a un curso de formaci\u00f3n en Barcelona a finales de septiembre de 2017 y desde entonces ha operado con \u00e9xito a varios pacientes, todos ellos con resultados satisfactorios y una evoluci\u00f3n positiva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el Dr. Jorge Ricardo Beltr\u00e1n es uno de los mejores especialistas en cirug\u00eda pedi\u00e1trica de Bogot\u00e1, experto en angiomas, con m\u00e1s de diez a\u00f1os de experiencia en instituciones de prestigio como la\u00a0<em>Cl\u00ednica del Country<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El\u00a0<strong>Kit de cirug\u00eda Pectus Up<\/strong>, un implante extrator\u00e1cico desarrollado por\u00a0<strong>Ventura Medical Technologies<\/strong>, permite la\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>excavatum<\/strong>\u00a0Se trata de un procedimiento que se fija de forma m\u00ednimamente invasiva e indoloro. El tiempo de quir\u00f3fano es menor que con los m\u00e9todos anteriores, el paciente tiene menos dolor, suele permanecer ingresado dos o tres d\u00edas y no requiere cuidados intensivos tras la intervenci\u00f3n, por lo que la recuperaci\u00f3n es mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y se puede hacer vida normal en menos tiempo que con otras t\u00e9cnicas. El implante se retira a los tres o cuatro a\u00f1os mediante un procedimiento sencillo y sin riesgos, pero puede permanecer en el estern\u00f3n durante mucho m\u00e1s tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actualmente,\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0Est\u00e1 disponible en Espa\u00f1a, Francia, Italia, Reino Unido y Portugal en Europa, y en Colombia y M\u00e9xico en Latinoam\u00e9rica.
