Ventura Medical Technologies estuvo presente en el III Workshop y Reuni\u00f3n Internacional sobre Patolog\u00eda de Pared Tor\u00e1cica que se realiz\u00f3 los d\u00edas 27 y 28 de septiembre de 2013 en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.<\/p>\n

Esta reuni\u00f3n fue organizada por el Centr\u00e1logo y el Hospital Houssay, y fue patrocinada por el \u201cChest Wall Interest Group\u201d (CWIG), ofreciendo la oportunidad de reunir a los principales expertos mundiales con experiencia en el estudio de diversas enfermedades que afectan la pared tor\u00e1cica.<\/p>\n

Ventura Medical Technologies estuvo presente en este evento para apoyar a uno de los invitados m\u00e1s importantes, el Dr. Bardaj\u00ed, inventor del nuevo procedimiento m\u00ednimamente invasivo para solucionar la enfermedad del Pectus Excavatum, quien junto a un equipo de profesionales de nuestra empresa ha desarrollado un implante llamado Pectus Up, que evita las complicaciones que surg\u00edan de los procedimientos anteriores. En este evento tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes el Dr. Nuss, inventor del m\u00e9todo quir\u00fargico anterior a la t\u00e9cnica del Dr. Bardaj\u00ed, junto a otros especialistas en cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica de diferentes pa\u00edses del mundo.<\/p>\n

El III Taller incluy\u00f3 presentaciones de \u201cCirug\u00eda en Vivo\u201d y diversas conferencias relacionadas con las malformaciones del t\u00f3rax. Se presentaron procedimientos quir\u00fargicos para solucionar diferentes problemas como Pectus Excavatum, Pectus Carinatum, tratamientos no quir\u00fargicos como el \u201cThoracic Brace\u201d y \u201cVacuum Bell\u201d y se realizaron conferencias acerca de enfermedades cong\u00e9nitas y adquiridas como tumores benignos y malignos e infecciones severas de la pared tor\u00e1cica.<\/p>\n
