El procedimiento se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el Hospital Central de la Polic\u00eda Nacional, en la ciudad de Bogot\u00e1, siendo la segunda cirug\u00eda en esta importante instituci\u00f3n, que atiende a m\u00e1s de 600.000 usuarios entre miembros de la instituci\u00f3n y sus familiares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El paciente evolucion\u00f3 favorablemente sin complicaciones y fue dado de alta a los tres d\u00edas de ingreso. Actualmente se encuentra en su domicilio para recuperarse y recibir cuidados postoperatorios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El Dr. Carlos Rodr\u00edguez es especialista en cirug\u00eda tor\u00e1cica del Hospital Militar y de la Cl\u00ednica Internacional VIP de la ciudad de Bogot\u00e1, con formaci\u00f3n en la Universidad El Bosque. Junto al Dr. Fernando Fierro, Rodr\u00edguez asisti\u00f3 al primer taller de formaci\u00f3n de especialistas en Colombia para adquirir las habilidades necesarias en el uso del Pectus Up Surgery Kit para el tratamiento quir\u00fargico extrator\u00e1cico de sus pacientes con Pectus Excavatum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ambos cirujanos visitaron Barcelona en 2017 para participar en varias actividades formativas en esta nueva t\u00e9cnica, junto con el Sr. Edgar Salazar Betancur, Director General de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/biomedisys.com.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biomedisys SAS<\/a>, distribuidor de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ventura Medical Technologies<\/a>\u00a0productos en colombia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Por su parte, el doctor Ricardo L\u00f3pez Palacio es especialista en cirug\u00eda general y cirujano tor\u00e1cico de la Universidad El Bosque (Bogot\u00e1). Tambi\u00e9n ha realizado un fellowship en Cirug\u00eda Toracosc\u00f3pica Avanzada en el Centennial Medical Center de Nashville (Estados Unidos) y es experto en deformidades de la pared tor\u00e1cica.
