El comit\u00e9 local del congreso est\u00e1 formado, entre otros, por los doctores Manuel Castanedo Allende, Mariano Garc\u00eda Yuste y Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Matilla Gonz\u00e1lez, del Servicio de Cirug\u00eda Tor\u00e1cica del Hospital Cl\u00ednico de Valladolid, que ya han utilizado el\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0T\u00e9cnica en doce\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>excavatum<\/strong>\u00a0pacientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre los eventos programados para el jueves 30 de mayo, en el marco del Simposio II,\u00a0<em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo hago?<\/em>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cirugiatoracica.es\/dr-varela.html\">Dr. Andr\u00e9s Varela<\/a>\u00a0Presentar\u00e1 el\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0t\u00e9cnica, desarrollada por\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/\">Ventura Medical Technologies<\/a>\u00a0como un sistema innovador para el tratamiento quir\u00fargico de\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>excavatum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Dr. Varela es jefe del Servicio de Cirug\u00eda Tor\u00e1cica del Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda y del Hospital Quir\u00f3nsalud, ambos en Madrid. En los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha realizado 14 intervenciones quir\u00fargicas con el\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>, convirti\u00e9ndose as\u00ed en el cirujano tor\u00e1cico con mayor experiencia en esta novedosa t\u00e9cnica quir\u00fargica en Espa\u00f1a. Adem\u00e1s, es un referente en la formaci\u00f3n de cirujanos, tanto tor\u00e1cicos como pedi\u00e1tricos, ya que a sus intervenciones han asistido m\u00e1s de 25 profesionales de la cirug\u00eda en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n del Dr. Varela en las mejoras introducidas en la t\u00e9cnica, el rango de edad y la diversidad tipol\u00f3gica de\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>excavatum<\/strong>\u00a0de los pacientes candidatos a esta cirug\u00eda se han ampliado.\u00a0<strong>pecto<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Arriba<\/strong>\u00a0Tiene criterios bien definidos y estandarizados que permiten una buena replicaci\u00f3n de la t\u00e9cnica mediante un abordaje extrator\u00e1cico, lo que conlleva muy poco dolor postoperatorio y un periodo de recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s corto que otras t\u00e9cnicas utilizadas para corregir esta deformidad.
