{"id":8808,"date":"2021-05-21T06:26:32","date_gmt":"2021-05-21T06:26:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/?p=8808"},"modified":"2026-01-26T11:32:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-26T11:32:43","slug":"pectus-up-seville-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/pectus-up-seville-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"Nueva cirug\u00eda con el Pectus Up en el Hospital F\u00e1tima de Sevilla, Espa\u00f1a"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Este hospital de la capital andaluza espa\u00f1ola apuesta por el Pectus Up como tratamiento para la correcci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica del Pectus Excavatum.<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El 7 de mayo, un nuevo caso de <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>excavatum<\/strong> fue tratado con el <a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\/?lang=en\"><strong>Pectus Up<\/strong><\/a>, el implante extrator\u00e1cico desarrollado por <a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/es\/\">Ventura Medical Technologies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta vez, el paciente era un hombre de 27 a\u00f1os con una figura asim\u00e9trica. <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>excavatum<\/strong>, con un \u00edndice de Haller de 3,34 y una rotaci\u00f3n esternal de 20,3\u00ba.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con la evoluci\u00f3n de <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>Arriba<\/strong> Desde su inicio en 2016, el rango de edad de los pacientes candidatos a esta t\u00e9cnica se ha ampliado notablemente, ya que a priori fue concebida para pacientes pedi\u00e1tricos y actualmente se est\u00e1 implantando tambi\u00e9n en adultos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El paciente, que apenas 24 horas despu\u00e9s de la cirug\u00eda ya se encontraba trabajando con su ordenador port\u00e1til en la habitaci\u00f3n del hospital, se recupera hoy satisfactoriamente en su casa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los cirujanos que realizaron la intervenci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica fueron <a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\/profesionales\/dr-fernando-cozar-bernal\/?lang=en\">Dr. Fernando C\u00f3zar<\/a>, cirujano especialista del \u00c1rea de Cirug\u00eda Tor\u00e1cica del Hospital Virgen Macarena y del Hospital F\u00e1tima de Sevilla; <strong>Dr. Gerardo Z\u00fa\u00f1iga<\/strong>, cirujano tor\u00e1cico del Hospital Civil de M\u00e1laga, y <strong>Dr. Sebasti\u00e1n Sevilla<\/strong>, cirujano tor\u00e1cico del Complejo Hospitalario Universitario de Ja\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta es la segunda vez que el Hospital F\u00e1tima cuenta con la <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>Arriba<\/strong> para tratar a un paciente con Pectus Excavatum. <a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\/patient-pectus-excavatum-adeslas-pectus-up-seville\/?lang=en\">El primero<\/a> se realiz\u00f3 en septiembre de 2020, cuando un paciente de 22 a\u00f1os, de <strong>Adeslas<\/strong> compa\u00f1\u00eda de seguros, era elegible para este innovador procedimiento para corregir su deformidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">T\u00e9cnicas tradicionales para el tratamiento quir\u00fargico de <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>excavatum<\/strong> Son intrator\u00e1cicos, invasivos y con un largo periodo de convalecencia. Con la adopci\u00f3n del <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>Arriba<\/strong>, que no introduce ning\u00fan elemento en la cavidad tor\u00e1cica y minimiza los riesgos postoperatorios, se abren nuevas perspectivas para el tratamiento de esta deformidad, tambi\u00e9n conocida como <em>embudo<\/em> <em>pecho<\/em> o <em>hundido<\/em> <em>pecho<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Dr. C\u00f3zar es miembro de varias asociaciones m\u00e9dicas, como la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aecirujanos.es\/\">Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Cirujanos<\/a> (Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Cirujanos), la Asociaci\u00f3n Iberoamericana de Cirug\u00eda Tor\u00e1cica (<em>Asociaci\u00f3n Iberoamericana de Cirug\u00eda Tor\u00e1cica<\/em>) y el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ests.org\/\"><em>Sociedad Europea de Cirujanos Tor\u00e1cicos<\/em><\/a>, entre otros. Se especializa en el <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>Arriba<\/strong> t\u00e9cnica, que se puede ver de primera mano en este v\u00eddeo: el primero de una cirug\u00eda \u2014que realiz\u00f3 en septiembre de 2020\u2014 grabada desde la perspectiva del cirujano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Espa\u00f1a no es el \u00fanico pa\u00eds donde <strong>pecto<\/strong> <strong>Arriba<\/strong> Se ha implementado la t\u00e9cnica.
