The Health Technology Cluster was constituted on 30 June 2014, promoted by
ACC1Ó – Catalan Agency for Competitiveness, Government of Catalonia.
Ventura Medical Technologies is one of the 17 Catalan companies that are part of the board of the Cluster which adds a joint turnover of more than 650 million euros and 6.500 workers. The main challenges of the Cluster are research, development, training, internationalization and marketing of more opportunities in the global market and personalization solutions for patients.
The members of the Cluster board are representatives of the UPC, Hospital Clínic, XISCAT and TicSalut Foundation, among others. The Minister for Enterprise of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Felip Puig, emphasizes that «Catalonia is an international leader in the development of medical technologies and the Cluster will allow companies to look for more opportunities to share synergies in the global market».
