Ventura Medical Technologies is a Catalan family business, part of the Ventura Group, which began its industrial journey over 50 years ago, becoming a world leader in manufacturing high-precision components for the automotive sector. Its strong commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology, along with its dedication to societal commitment, led to the creation of a new business line oriented towards the healthcare sector in 2010.

WHERE WE COME FROM

Leveraging its manufacturing capabilities for the most important companies in the automotive and aerospace sectors, both nationally and internationally, and with a firm will to export its innovation to other sectors, it entered the healthcare sector.

– 1970: Ventura. Over 50 years of experience in the industrial sector

– 2008: Internationalization with three production plants: Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona), Houston (Texas), and Suzhou (China)

– 2010: Ventura Medical Technologies is created. Given its industrial experience, high competitiveness, and great demand level, it has incorporated the most advanced technology and the best-qualified professionals.

WHERE WE ARE HEADING

CREATING INNOVATION IN HEALTHCARE

The first innovative project developed at Ventura Medical Technologies was in collaboration with the pediatric surgery service of the Parc Taulí Health Corporation. It was based on the development of an innovative surgical method and a device, called Pectus Up, for the treatment of Pectus Excavatum, the most common congenital malformation of the chest in children and adolescents. Currently, the company is developing new projects related to specialties in thoracic surgery, pediatric surgery, urology, otolaryngology, primary care, social and social health care. To achieve optimal results in these projects, collaboration agreements have been established with various healthcare, universities, and innovation centers in Spain.
