WHAT IS THE HYPOSFIX?

Based on an original idea by Drs. Marta De Diego Suárez and Rosa Maria Isnard Blanchar from the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, Ventura Medical Technologies developed Hyposfix in collaboration with the Germans Trias i Pujol Health Sciences Research Institute – IGTP.

Hyposfix is an innovative solution designed to facilitate the surgical correction of hypospadias, a congenital malformation of the penis where the urethra does not open at the tip of the penis.

Hyposfix is a retractor-fixator designed to provide excellent penile exposure during the surgical repair of hypospadias, as well as for other less common urethral pathologies, ensuring optimal results during surgery.
