Pectus up in SPCCTV Congress

Ventura Medical Technologies collaborated with LusoPalex Lda. in the Congress of the SPCCTV – Sociedade Portuguesa de Cirurgia Cardiotorácica e Vascular – to present the advantages of Pectus Up in Pectus Excavatum patients.

Professor Abel Nascimento presented the Pectus Up at the congress, which was held in the Algarve. It was also atended by Dr. Marina Paradela, a thoracic surgeon at the University Hospital of A Coruña, trained in the Pectus Up technique. She gave a speech on the progress in the innovation of minimally invasive thoracic surgery.

Nascimento is a world reference in reconstructive surgery and has over three decades experience in this specialty. He directs the Instituto de Cirugía Reconstructiva, integrated into the international group Idealmed. He is also a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra.
